Robert Johnston is an award-winning guitarist, classically-trained, and seasoned professional specializing in classical, Latin, and jazz finger-style guitar. In addition to having played at numerous weddings, private parties, and corporate events, Robert also enjoys composing music for guitar and orchestra. His portfolio includes an appearance with the Gadsden Symphony Orchestra, as well as many original compositions targeted at commercial television and film. Robert also enjoys teaching guitar and has written a series of guitar instruction books for both children and adults.
Robert Johnston’s extensive repertoire of pop, jazz, Latin, and classical guitar favorites is ideal for creating the perfect soft and relaxing atmosphere for you and your guests and insuring an enchanting evening you’ll always remember.
Featured Services;
Simple Package –includes pre-wedding music for your guests to be seated as well as all parts of the ceremony (procession, bridal entrance, and recession) as well as up to an hour of live guitar music for your guests to enjoy at the reception. This package includes up to three special requests.
Evening Package – Make it a full evening of soft soothing guitar music for your wedding. This includes your ceremony, up to an hour of live music for your reception, and up to an hour of live music for your dinner, wrapping things up just in time for your DJ to transform the room into a dance hall! This package includes up to 5 special requests.
Full Package – Treat your guests to a full wedding guitar experience. This includes live music for your ceremony as well as up to an hour of music for your rehearsal dinner, reception, and wedding dinner, featuring all of your Classical, Jazz, Latin, Pop, and traditional guitar favorites. This package includes up to 10 special requests as well as one complimentary original composition, unique to your wedding experience.
Special Requests – In addition to being able to specify whether your musical tastes are more classical, jazz, Latin, or pop, a number of special requests are also included with each package and must be chosen four weeks prior to your wedding.
Original Arrangements and Custom Compositions – Original compositions unique to your wedding experience are also available. Just ask! Work with Robert to compose a memorable one-of-a-kind composition for your ceremony that takes you and your guests on an instrumental journey of your love story. Arrangements must be made at least eight weeks in advance. Pricing is negotiable depending on the nature of the composition. Original compositions can also be included on the “Music from Our Wedding” CD.
“Music from Our Wedding” CD – This option includes 5 copies on audio CD of select music from your wedding guitar playlist, including any special requests. Each CD is digitally printed with your customized wedding title and date with a matching insert and hard shell case. This treasured keepsake allows you and your family to relive your wedding experience for years to come. CDs will be pre-recorded and made available by your wedding date.
